- Results June 1, 2011 in a 1/2 size “Boomer Bloomer.” Started from seed March 17th, outdoors, in 1-1/2 feet of snow. Will replant the entire garden again in mid August for the same results in December. This is the third year in a row that Earl has been able to extend the growing season from 3-1/2 months to 9 months in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Weeding for the entire season amounts to less than 10 minutes.
